To order the system you REALLY need
Q: What information do you need from me in order to provide a quote for an induction heating system?
A: Key pieces of information requested for quotation would include:
- Part Geometry:
What are the size, shape and mass of your part?
- Cycle Time:
How long does it takes to produce a single unit of your part from start to finish?
How many parts per year or parts per 10 minutes do you produce? Are you manufacturing small lots of intricate parts or mass quantities of simpler parts?
What level of electrical voltage is used in your plant? Is it low, medium, high or ultra high? (An electrical service classification guide can be found here.)
- Is cooling water available?
Do you have access to water above the dew point temperature readily available or will you need a chiller?
Providing this information as well sending a part drawing and an non-disclosure agreement (if necessary) when you make your request for quotation will help speed up the quoting process.
